The first dental examination should occur when the first baby tooth has appeared into the mouth or before 12 months of age. This examination is quick and easy, but can help us to identify if there are any issues that may come up in the future.

We know that having a new child can be a very busy and stressful time. Ensuring that your child has a healthy mouth from birth is the first major step in achieving a healthy mouth as an adult. This is probably one of the most important examinations your child can ever have.
